Moot, the guy behind 4chan is working on a SFW creative website (currently in beta) called canv.as.
It's pretty good, the website includes a basic image editor + painter, the idea is to modify pictures from the original post. Check their blog.
I was checking popular entries on canvas this morning and saw this thread, you had to modify a shape, here is my entry.
